Our client, is a leading Irish law firm with a highly regarded Environment & Planning unit. This Tier 1 team, advises on many of the country’s most high profile infrastructure projects.

Our client wants to speak to ambitious Senior Associates who want to push their career forward. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex planning and environmental matters, while taking direct responsibility for client relationships, advisory and high-profile litigation. Salary: €110 – €130k DOE

Benefits: Pension @ 10%, Bonus, Healthcare, Gym, Canteen, Annual Reviews

Total Package: up to €170k

The Role

  • Advise clients on complex planning, environmental and regulatory matters across both contentious and non-contentious work.
  • Work on high-profile litigation and judicial review proceedings relating to planning and environmental issues.
  • Support major infrastructure, development and strategic projects from both advisory and dispute resolution perspectives.
  • Prepare detailed and commercially focused legal advice for a broad client base.
  • Collaborate closely with partners and cross-functional teams on complex matters and transactions.
  • Manage a varied caseload effectively while maintaining high technical and client service standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships through practical, responsive and commercially aware advice.

The Candidate

This role will suit an experienced Environment & Planning Solicitor, who is commercially oriented, can handle a diverse workload and is happy with client development

The successful candidates will further display:

  • 4–6 years’ post-qualification experience, with significant exposure to environment and planning matters.
  • Strong drafting skills
  • A client-focused approach.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication ability.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work.
  • The resilience and work ethic required to succeed in a busy practice.
