Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Stay up to date with legal and regulatory developments in the Finance and Banking sector, ensuring that fee earners in the team are informed of any changes.
• Support fee earners in addressing complex legal and practical issues raised by clients.
• Assist in the development of practice notes, toolkits, and other legal know-how resources.
• Develop and promote the firm’s Finance and Banking expertise in the market, preparing legal updates and other communications for clients.
• Ensure the team’s collective knowledge is captured, shared, and disseminated effectively across the firm.
• Help design and deliver training for fee earners, trainees, and client-facing training sessions.
• Contribute to the development, production, and maintenance of Finance and Banking precedents and Know-How.
• Develop knowledge tools aligned with business needs and support broader Knowledge Management initiatives.
• Collaborate with the Knowledge and Practice Development Partner to enhance the Finance and Banking practice area and participate in relevant projects.

The successful candidate will be an experienced lawyer with:

• Legal practice or in-house legal experience in Finance and Banking.
• Strong technical, legal, and analytical skills.
• Excellent drafting and communication abilities.
• Ability to present legal concepts clearly, both in formal training sessions and in one-on-one consultations.
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
• A keen interest in Knowledge Management and continuous professional development.
