Our client, a well established law firm, is seeking an experienced Litigation Solicitor with 6+ years’ PQE to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with a strong background in defence personal injury litigation and general litigation to manage a varied caseload while working closely with clients and colleagues.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to handle a broad range of contentious matters, take ownership of complex cases and play an active role in the continued development of the practice. Salary: to €100k

Total Package: worth up to €120k
- Manage a varied caseload of defence personal injury litigation, including employer liability, public liability and occupier liability claims.
- Handle general litigation matters, including contractual disputes and defamation claims.
- Advise clients on litigation strategy, risk exposure and the options available to resolve disputes.
- Prepare pleadings, legal submissions and other court documentation, ensuring work is completed to a high standard.
- Manage cases through all stages of litigation, including settlement negotiations, mediation and court proceedings.
- Liaise directly with clients, counsel, insurers and other relevant parties to progress matters efficiently.
- Contribute to the development of client relationships and the ongoing growth of the litigation practice.
- Support and mentor junior team members where appropriate, with scope to develop leadership responsibilities as the role progresses.
- A qualified Solicitor with 6+ years’ PQE and strong experience in litigation.
- A solid background in defence personal injury litigation. We will also consider Plaintiff PI experience.
- Experience handling a range of general litigation matters, including contractual disputes and defamation claims.
- Strong technical legal, drafting and analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident managing files independently and advising clients on complex contentious matters.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage a busy caseload and meet competing deadlines.
- Commercially minded, with a practical and solutions-focused approach to dispute resolution.
- A collaborative team player with an interest in business development and developing client relationships.
- Ambitious and motivated to take the next step in their career, with an interest in progressing towards partnership.
