Link Personnel have been retained to hire an experienced Personal Assistant (PA) to join the Corporate department of a Top Tier Law Firm.

Working as part of a collaborative team of seven PAs, the successful candidate will provide dedicated support to two partners and several associates, contributing to the smooth running of the department and the delivery of exceptional client service. Call Orla on 01 8456312 for details

The Role

The Personal Assistant will play a key role in providing high-quality administrative and organisational support. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing complex diaries and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Producing and editing professional documentation from digital dictation and handwritten material, ensuring consistency with the firm’s style and standards.
  • Taking ownership of billing processes and related administrative tasks.
  • Preparing business development materials for client meetings, including research, client profiles, and company information.
  • Managing emails, calendars, and contact lists efficiently.
  • Entering and reporting business development data within the firm’s CRM system.
  • Maintaining accurate and organised filing systems, both electronic and physical.
  • Providing general administrative assistance such as printing, posting, photocopying, and scanning.

The Person

The ideal candidate will be proactive, organised, and capable of managing multiple priorities. The following experience and attributes are essential:

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Legal PA or Secretary, supporting senior-level professionals.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working with document management and billing systems.
  • Competence in using digital dictation software.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and re-prioritise tasks effectively.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Proactivity and ownership of assigned responsibilities.
  • A collaborative mindset, with a willingness to support colleagues when required.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
