Case Management: Manage a diverse range of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, separation, and maintenance cases from start to finish.
Client Interaction: Provide clear and concise advice to clients, ensuring their needs are understood and met with professionalism and empathy.
File Management: Independently run your own files, ensuring all legal procedures are followed, deadlines are met, and documentation is accurate and complete.
Court Attendance: Represent clients at family law hearings, including interim hearings, applications, and contested matters.
Drafting Legal Documents: Prepare legal correspondence, pleadings, affidavits, and other family law documentation.
Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients to keep them updated on the progress of their cases.
Collaboration: Work closely with other legal professionals within the firm to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
Continuing Professional Development: Keep up-to-date with family law developments and best practices to ensure the highest standard of service delivery.
Minimum 6 years’ experience working as a Family Law Legal Executive or in a similar capacity.
Proven ability to run own files independently with minimal supervision, including managing client relationships, deadlines, and court processes.
Excellent knowledge of family law principles in Ireland, particularly in relation to divorce, separation, child custody, and maintenance.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in an easily understandable manner.
Ability to maintain a client-focused approach and show empathy in sensitive situations.
Proficient in the use of legal management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
A strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively when required.
ACILEx or relevant legal qualification (desirable but not essential)
