Our Client, is an Irish-owned construction company delivering residential, commercial, healthcare and infrastructure projects across Ireland. They are a recognised market leader in the supply, installation and servicing of a wide range of specialist products and require an Automatic Doors Technician to join their busy department. Salary: to €55k

Benefits: Pension, On-site Parking, Travel Tax Incentives, Bike to Work Scheme.

Total Package: up to €70K

The Role

  • Carry out the repair, servicing, and installation of door automation and access control systems for a broad client base across both public and private sectors.
  • Respond to service callouts as required, maintaining a flexible approach to working hours and geographic coverage.
  • Identify and recommend suitable upgrades or remedial works and communicate all requirements clearly to the office team.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Service Engineer or Technician.
  • Strong knowledge of automatic door products from various manufacturers.
  • Proven ability to repair, service, and install systems to a high standard.
  • Competent in reading and interpreting schematic diagrams and technical plans.
  • Skilled in the use of battery-powered drills, hand tools, and related equipment.
  • Basic understanding of access control systems (full training will be provided).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Current or previously held ADSA door safety accreditation.
  • Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certifications.
  • Full, clean driving licence.
