Link Personnel are recruiting on behalf of our client, a Top Law Firm, for a Legal Document Specialist / Word Processor to join their evening / night Word Processing team. This is a small, dedicated team of MS Office experts, providing high quality support to all departments, by typing dictations and creating all document production tasks in Word, Excel and PowerPoint to the highest standard, ensuring the firm’s house styles are correctly followed.

The Working Hours Are:
Monday to Thursday: 3.30pm – 12.00am

Friday: 1.30pm – 10.00pm

There is some flexibility on the above.

The job is fully remote with occasional requests to attend on site for training purposes.

Salary:  to €52k

The Role:

  • Producing and amending, with speed and accuracy, correspondence, attachments and complex documents such as reports, circulars, closing/board packs, agreements and producing redlines.
  • Creating and amending PowerPoint presentations.
  • Creating and amending complex structure charts.
  • Proficiency in all MS Office suite to include Excel.
  • Transcribing digital dictations quickly and accurately.
  • Converting PDFs to word using software tools or by copy typing.
  • Editing, merging, redacting and/or securing PDF documentation.
  • Applying the firm’s house style to documents.
  • Proofreading work to ensure it is accurate, consistent and meets the firm’s standards.
  • Supporting and helping new/other members of the DP team to develop their skills.
  • Staying up to date with current technology and maintaining an advanced level of knowledge in Microsoft Office.

The Candidate:

  • A minimum of five years’ experience working in a law firm as a document production specialist or Legal Secretary.
  • Excellent I.T. skills with advanced knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and work well under pressure.
  • Excellent client service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Typing speeds of WPM 70+.
