QSHE Director

Our client, a Global transport and logistics company, require a Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental standards Director to join the team. This role will involve overseeing compliance, driving continuous improvement, and managing team training. Salary: to €150k DOE+Bonus

Total Package: up to €230k

Duties:

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain the company’s Quality Assurance Program to ensure adherence to best-in-class standards.

  • Plan, design, and conduct Operational Qualification (OQ) and Performance Qualification (PQ) studies for warehousing and transport activities.

  • Maintain and advance ISO standards while establishing key performance indicators.

  • Develop and manage the document management system to ensure compliance with corporate and national regulations.

  • Identify training needs and implement programs to ensure the effective and efficient completion of all quality-related tasks.

  • Utilise continuous improvement tools to initiate actions for operational enhancements.

  • Act as the company representative and primary customer contact for all quality-related enquiries, compliance requests, customer complaints, and reporting.

  • Foster a strong corporate quality culture within the team to promote awareness and understanding of quality processes and policies, ensuring compliance with Quality and Regulatory Policies.

  • Lead the CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) process, champion best practices, and build strong relationships with customers.

  • Assist CAPA users in developing and documenting problem statements, containment and correction measures, root cause analysis, and action plans, including monitoring effectiveness.

  • Ensure the effective and timely completion of corrective actions in collaboration with business units and operations.

  • Manage the Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with the Quality, Health & Safety, Environment, and Security (QSHE) policies.

  • Provide regular reports, statistics, and guidance to all associates at IE sites (internal and suppliers) regarding CAPA requirements.

Experience:

  • QSHE or equivalent qualification.

  • Experience in internal and/or external auditing.

  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to provide insightful reporting and analysis.

  • Expertise in driving cost-saving initiatives.

  • A dynamic individual with excellent interpersonal skills and a high level of self-motivation.

  • Capable of delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.

  • Ability to meet time-sensitive tasks, adhere to schedules, and meet deadlines.

  • Skilled at influencing and aligning business directors to ensure full client support.

  • Excellent IT skills (MS Office-Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
