A leading Industrial Manufacturing Company is looking for a Production Team Leader to join their team. This is an important position responsible for the day-to-day operational activities to achieve weekly targets and on-going performance metrics.

The Team Leader will be responsible for his/her area and be accountable for all aspects of the team’s performance.

Key duties:

• To Organise, Task Manage, Plan and Prioritise
• To provide Training Management-cross training, multi-skilling, job-rotation
• To conduct recruitment and induction
• To provide Production planning
• To guide others to problem solve by teaching/advising
• Conduct trouble shooting support and root cause analysis
• To provide hands-on support

The Candidate:

• Candidate ideally should have 2-5 years in a similar manufacturing environment.
• Strong people leadership, interpersonal and communication skills are required.
• Strong planning and analytical/problem solving skills required.
• Knowledge and experience of Materials/Inventory planning systems is essential.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) required.
• Good understanding of production management and processes.
• Experience with electromechanical, mechatronics, chemical, systems integration is preferable.
