Payroll Specialist

Our Client, a large corporate based in Dublin City, has instructed Link Personnel to recruit a Payroll Specialist to join their team. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with their outsourced payroll provider to ensure that monthly amendments are accurately recorded and processed. Additionally, they will be responsible for ensuring the timely and precise processing of payroll for all employees. This is a 12-month FTC position. Salary: to €40K DOE

Overall Package: to €55k

Duties:

  • Take full ownership and management of the monthly payroll process for over 800 employees.
  • Oversee and coordinate payroll amendments, including joiners, leavers, overtime, and other adjustments, with the outsourced payroll provider.
  • Generate and review monthly payroll reports from internal systems, ensuring accurate data processing and timely submission to the payroll provider.
  • Approve and review monthly payrolls provided by the payroll provider to ensure accuracy.
  • Address and resolve any payroll-related queries as they arise.
  • Manage and maintain the business relationship with the third-party payroll provider.
  • Perform ad hoc tasks, including reward administration, reporting, and HR system data management.
  • Process monthly deductions/payments related to healthcare, pensions, travel passes, bike-to-work schemes, overtime, etc.
  • Coordinate with Payroll, Human Resources, Accounts, and other departments to ensure the smooth flow and accuracy of employee data.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Experience:

  • 2-3 years previous experience within a similar role.
  • Strong written and communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage priorities in order to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is essential.
  • Produce high standards of work.
  • Very organised, proactive, and capable of working independently.
