HR Assistant-FTC

Our Client is a Professional Services Firm located in a convenient location in Dublin 2.  They currently have a vacancy for a HR Assistant for a 15-month FTC.  Reporting to the HR Operations Manager this is a busy and varied role with great autonomy.  The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the delivering of employee benefits and HR processes. Salary:  to €45-50K DOE

The Role: 

  • Trainees – Act as main point of contact for all Trainee queries; provide support in relation to all Trainee registration with the Law Society, to include managing the Indenture process.
  • Manage the leave activity within the firm to include annual leave, family leave and sick leave.
  • Maintain all employee data on their HR system, for both new and existing employees.
  • Compensation & Benefit Programmes – Manage the employee benefits programmes eg. Pension, Permanent Health Insurance & Life Assurance, Health Insurance, Wellness Programme, Education Sponsorship Scheme, Travel Scheme, Bike to Work and other schemes as approved by the Firm.
  • HR Reports– Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports as required.
  • Support HR Projects and new initiatives being introduced into the firm.
  • Other Support other ad hoc tasks and projects as required.

The Candidate: 

  •  Degree in HR or relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years relevant human resource experience.
  • Ability to manage their areas of responsibility in a proactive and professional manner.
  • Ability to work autonomously, using their initiative.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with an ability to manage a wide range of projects and activities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computing skills with proficiency in MS Office.
