Our client, a large Multinational based in Dublin 11 requires an Asset Management Control Systems Specialist to join their Technology and Innovation team. This is a hands-on role where you will interact regularly with a variety of stakeholders such as internal colleagues, suppliers, partners and managers to ensure their systems are working safely and efficiently for their business end users. The chosen candidate will ensure that processes are adhered to, to enable their systems to contribute to the reliability, efficiency and availability of their assets.

Main Duties:

• Assist with the effective operation of all the control systems functions within the business unit.
• Ensure equipment is examined and maintained to the appropriate standard.
• Support the operations teams for facilitating routine and complex fault finding, documenting lessons learned and sharing with appropriate stakeholders.
• Maintain records of all calibrations, maintenance activities, and the ‘As Built’ documentation for each asset; and all work is in line with the maintenance strategy for that asset.
• Review, advise and report on all asset simulations and setting changes ensuring that agreed processes are followed.
• Review and engage with 3rd parties, OEMs and internal stakeholders in relation to proposed improvement and control logic changes along with planning scheduled maintenance works.
• Liaise with the cyber security team to proactively maintain all systems to ensure compliance.
• Develop, maintain and implement procedures and policies.
• Assist in the development of detailed technical/managerial reports/procedures/instructions for both internal and external communication.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Relevant Qualification in Electrical, Control Systems and/or Instrumentation.
• Ideally previous experience in an energy, process or renewables environment.
• Strong experience in problem solving/fault identification and calibration of field devices.
• Good experience in Governor systems, Renewable Technology Control Systems.
• Previous experience fault finding on electrical equipment.
• Current driving license and access to a car for site visits
