The ideal candidate is technically accomplished, collaborative and solution-focused. They are open to speaking with candidates who have related experience in commercial litigation, property, or with prior career experience as a quantity surveyor or engineer.

The Firms clients include contractors, developers, funders, investors, suppliers, subcontractors and insolvency practitioners. We advise on projects across a diverse range of sectors, including public sector, commercial property development, data centres, housing and infrastructure.

The Role:

• Advising on both transactional and contentious matters
• Managing client engagements with minimal, but supportive, supervision
• Dealing with all types of dispute resolution processes, including adjudication, conciliation, mediation, court proceedings and arbitration
• Advising on standard form and bespoke construction contracts
• Drafting and negotiating development agreements, professional appointments, collateral warranties and ancillary project documents

The Candidate:

• 4 – 6 years PQE
• A genuine interest in construction law, practice and industry
• The ability to work on their own initiative, and as part of a team
• The ability to prioritise and focus on solutions
• Enthusiasm for business development
