Reporting to the PTP Manager, this key role works alongside a second PTP Team Lead at our state-of-the-art facility in Balbriggan. This site not only serves as our Ireland centre but also houses our Group Finance team and Management Services—our core contracting and procurement entity responsible for sourcing fruit from Central and South America and shipping it into Europe and emerging markets.
We are looking for a results-oriented PTP Team Lead to manage a high-volume Accounts Payable Processing team. This role ensures accuracy, efficiency, and timely processing of transactions while overseeing team performance and workflow.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee the daily operations of the PTP team, driving high productivity and accuracy.
Manage workload distribution to ensure deadlines and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met.
Provide hands-on support, coaching, and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards, identifying and implementing corrective actions when needed.
Track key performance metrics and generate reports for management.
Act as a key point of communication between team members, leadership, and other stakeholders.
Support process improvements and change management initiatives.
Drive standardisation and harmonisation of PTP processes to improve efficiency based on best practices and benchmarking.
Identify training needs and coordinate or deliver relevant training sessions for the PTP team.
The Candidate:
Proven experience leading a high-volume transactional team.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and work under tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, with fluency in spoken and written English for clear interaction with team members and stakeholders.
Knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA is an advantage.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
